Vladimir Markman, a Jewish activist from Sverdlovsk, has just been released from the labor camp after serving a three-year term, it was reported Tuesday by the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry. Markman was arrested April 1972 after protesting the sentences of the first Leningrad trials. His family went to Israel last year.
