“Ancient Synagogues in Palestine and Greece” is the title of a new volume containing the Schweich lectures delivered before the British Academy in 1930 by Dr. E. L. Sukenik, archaeologist of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, according to an announcement yesterday by Dr. A. S. W. Rosenbach, president of the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
The book is published for the British Academy by the Oxford University Press and its publication date is announced for tomorrow.
Announcement is also made that the Hebrew bibliographical quarterly, “Kiryath Sepher,” published by the Hebrew University Library, has just completed its tenth volume.
