Pressing problems affecting Jewish rights throughout the world, and the situation of the Jews in countries behind the Iron Curtain, will be evaluated here at a meeting of the coordinating committee of the World Jewish Congress convening Wednesday. A report on the suspended negotiations between the Austrian Government and the Committee on Jewish Claims will also be presented to the Coordinating Committee. That report will be made by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Jewish Claims Committee and president of the WJC.
Among those scheduled to attend the committee sessions are Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the American Jewish Congress; Shad Polier, chairman of the AJC’s national executive committee; and Abraham S, Hyman, WJC administrative director.
