Walter Lippmann, political economist and new commentator, was one of nine persons awarded honorary degree at commencement exercises of Oglethorpe University.
Given the degree of Doctor of Laws, Mr. Lippmann was one of the four men and women who witnessed the exercises. The columnist also spoke on “This Year of Crisis” under the auspices of the Junior League.
