A series of mass meetings which are to be open to the public, will be conducted in various sections of Brooklyn for the purpose of informing public opinion of Nazi attempts to invade this country with particular reference to Nazi developments in Brooklyn, it was announced today by Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May.
The first of these meetings which are being arranged under the auspices of the Brooklyn Division of the American Jewish Congress, of which Justice May is the chairman, will be held April 24 at the Abraham Lincoln High School.
Factual evidence concerning the efforts of the Hitler International with headquarters in Hamburg to spread the Nazi cult of racial discord throughout the world, and the character of its efforts in the United States, will be presented by notables. Professor Alfons Goldschmidt, prominent economist, who is now a refugee in this country in flight from Hitler oppression, will be the principal speaker on April 24. Other speakers will include Justice May. Dr. Gabriel Mason, principal of the Abraham Lincoln High School, and County Judge Algeron I. Nova. Dr. Leon S. Kaiser will preside.
Arrangements for the meeting are being made by the Shore Front section of the Brooklyn Division of the American Jewish Congress, headed by Sazaha Rubens, Abel Marker, Dr. I. W. Ell man and Jack Greenberg.
