Prominent Nazis were among the 426 German immigrants who arrived here last week on the immigrant transport Castelbianco, it was charged here today at the state convention of the Australian League of Ex-servicemen and Women.
The convention adopted a resolution opposing admission into Australia of former Nazis and Nazi sympathizers after hearing a report that among this group of immigrants were one of Hitler’s personal guards, a former Reichswehr colonel and former members of the Elite Hitler and Goering regiments.
