The recent meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency in London was concluded in a mutually satisfactory understanding between all groups and delegates coming from different countries, declared Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the Administrative Committee in an interview with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, on his return from Europe yesterday. Mr. Warburg was accompanied by Mrs. Warburg and James Becker of Chicago, and was greeted at the pier by a number of Jewish leaders.
Mr. Warburg declared that he had conferences twice with Premier Ramsay MacDonald, and he had great confidence that the promises made by the British government in regard to Palestine would be carried out. He did not meet any member of the Palestine Arab delegation which came to London, Mr. Warburg said.
Talking about the situation in Palestine, the chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency declared that, “in that country the readjustment between government functions. Jewish agency constructive rebuilding, and Arab cooperation are being studied with sympathy and the public reiteration of adherence to the Mandate by all the three English political party leaders. namely Premier MacDonald, Lloyd George and Stanley Baldwin, makes us feel both secure and also conscious of the obligation to assist in the working out of a simplified cooperation for solid work without duplication and with as small an overhead as possible.
“The details for this cooperation will be discussed by the committees of the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Palestine and the general public must feel that the raising of $6,000,000 by the Allied Jewish
