The industries which I was able to see, coupled with the reports which I received, are showing splendid development. The works on the Dead Sea concession are marvelous. The success of the Palestine Electric Corporation of which Pincus Rutenberg is the head, can be seen from the financial results which the corporation lately achieved in London, where all its newly-issued shares were bought up immediately.
“I had the opportunity to meet with the Executive of the Jewish Agency here, and it will only be fair to say that never has such cooperation and harmony been reached. I express the hope that some way should be found in the future by the Executive for contact and consultation with different economic Jewish bodies. The Jewish Agency should not be only political. I hope that no difference at all will be noticed in the future between the Zionists and non-Zionists within the Executive. We feel that the number of members in the political department should not be increased.”
Mr. Warburg concluded his statement by saying that in the Jewish colonization work in Palestine he has noticed “marvelous development in comparison with the previous years.”
