Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg have contributed $20,000 to the United Palestine Appeal seeking to meet the emergency in the Holy Land, it was announced today by Morris Rothenberg, national co-chairman of the Appeal.
“It is an evidence of the deep concern,” Mr. Rothenberg said in making public the gift, “which is felt in all sections of American Jewry with the present trials of the Jewish population in Palestine that Mr. and Mrs. Warburg at this time make a contribution of $20,000 intended to meet the emergency needs that have arisen.
“It is characteristic of the sympathetic spirit in which Mr. and Mrs. Warburg have always been helpful in the upbuilding of Palestine that in this crucial time they should come forward with this encouraging support to the sorely pressed Jewish community in Palestine.”
