An appeal to American Jewry not to confuse Italian Fascism with the Nazism of Germany has been issued here by the Union of Jewish Communities in Italy after learning that some young Jewish students in America had committed themselves to inconsiderate manifestations upon the arrival of a group of Fascist students from Italy to America.
In its appeal the Jewish Communities Union deeply deplores the manifestations. It stresses the fundamental difference between Nazism and Fascism, the latter having always rejected every distinction of races and religions. American Jews are invited in the appeal to reconsider with sympathy the consistently noble attitude of the Italian government and the Fascist regime toward the Jews.
