An editorial from a Missouri newspaper warning minorities in the United States that they enjoy equality of treatment under the law “by virtue of the rugged sense of justice and humanity of the majority” was inserted in the Congressional Record here today by Rep. John T. Wood, of Idaho.
The editorial, which appeared in the Clayton, Mo. Watchman-Advocate, warns minorities, whether racial, religious or economic, not to play politics or use political threats “to compel enactment of class regulations designed to benefit its exclusive interests to the detriment of the nation’s popular majority.”
