The Warsaw ghetto was recently enlarged by addition of further blocks of houses in Dzike and Stawka Streets, according to information reaching Polish circles here today. All Polish inhabitants on these blocks were evicted to make room for the Jews, who had been deported from a number of other districts.
Following the deportations last March from the Lublin district, sections of Zyradow inhabited by Jews were cordoned off by the police and the Jews driven to a station, where all their luggage and bundles were taken away. Fifteen hundred of them were sent to Warsaw. Immediately after the departure of the Jews, the Germans set about plundering their homes and carrying off valuable articles in lorries.
