Of the eight Harvard Students selected on the Harvard varsity debating squad, five are Jewish. They are: A, L. Raffa, Somerville, Mass; Saul Rosenberg, Maiden, Mass; Saul Silverman, Cleveland, Ohio; Norman Winer of Chatanooga, Tenn.; and Carl A. Alpern of Pittsburgh, Pa.
