The famous monument memorializing the martyrs of the Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw is being restored and partially rebuilt at a cost of 1,200,000 zlotys appropriated by the Warsaw Municipal Council according to word reaching here today from the Polish capital. The renovation work is scheduled to be completed in time for the 16th annual observance of Warsaw Ghetto Martyrs’ Day, next April.
