The Warsaw radio broadcast today a summary of an article in the Polish newspaper “Zyvie Warszawy” devoted to the subject of mass applications for emigration by Jews from Poland.
The article, entitled “They Are Leaving.” contains accounts of conversations which the author had on this subject with Jews and Poles and instances of intolerance toward Jews. In this connection the author urges the need for appropriate instruction in schools, a struggle of all progressive people for the principles of mutual respect, and the “combating of hooliganism.”
