The Warsaw writers’ union tendered a reception yesterday to Nahum Sokolow, noted Zionist leader, who is now visiting Poland. All newspapermen and writers except those of the left wing were present. The speakers included Karlinski, Heftman, Zeitlin, Zwi Priluzki, Jatzkan, N. Schwalbe, I. Fichman and Gottlieb, who was chairman. In his address, Sokolow reminisced about the days of the “Hazefira,” the first Hebrew paper, of which he had been the editor.
