The Warsaw Haint, leading Jewish daily, was confiscated by the authorities today for declaring in an editorial that the trade agreement recently signed by Poland and Germany is a “fiasco.” The paper pointed out that Jewish antipathy to trading with Germany was effective in checking imports from Germany.
