The Warsaw Yiddish Theatre, under the direction of Ida Kaminska, will give 13 performances here during a run to open next week. The first play announced, is to be “Meir Ezofovitch,” described as a drama “depicting the struggle of a section of Jewry during the 19th Century against Chassidism.” The play is based on a novel by Elisa Orzeszko, a 19th Century Polish non-Jewish author. The second play on the list will be “Goldfaden,” a musical fantasy.
