The Polish Zionist conference, now in session in Warsaw, is dealing with the same problems of internal Zionist conflict which are being discussed at the Krakow conference of the General Zionists.
However, the group following Isaac Gruenbaum, head of the immigration department of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem, is opposed to union with the General Zionists. Since the group constitutes a majority, Polish Zionists are not expected to join the General Zionist party at this time. Even a minority proposal calling for the sending of greetings to the Krakow conference was defeated by the Gruenbaum group.
