The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today upheld a contempt of Congress conviction of Joseph P. Kemp, author of anti-Semitic publications and vice-president of the Constitutional Educational League of New York.
Kemp, who was given a four-months jail term last March, had been cited for contempt by the House Campaign Expenditures Committee because he did not comply with a request to divulge the names of contributors to the League. He had been free on bond pending the appeal to the Circuit Court.
