Water from the Dead Sea is the basis of a new treatment being developed at the University of Bergen in Norway for the treatment of psoriasis. The university’s department of dermatology is trying to produce a “Dead Sea pill” to be given to the chronically ill who cannot visit the Dead Sea water spas. Psoriasis affects some three percent of Scandinavians.
