High Commissioner Wauchope in a conference with Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, said he was satisfied with the conduct of Tel Aviv Jews in the disorders which have brought death to seventeen Jews and four Arabs since Sunday.
The High Commissioner praised the restraint and self-control exercised by the Jews and promised every effort to establish order and do everything possible for public security.
