The board of governors of Wayne University has adopted a revised statute for the university which states that there shall be no discrimination in the institution’s relationships with its students, faculty or other employes on grounds of race, religion, color and country of origin or ancestry.

In addition, the university will not affiliate with other educational institutions or enter into arrangements for athletic or other student and educational relationships if such institutions practice discrimination in the operation or use of facilities or accommodations. The non-discrimination policy shall also apply to the use of university buildings and other facilities and in the determination of the award of construction or maintenance contracts.
