The representative of the League of Nations, Mr. Kolban, was prevented from speaking at a public meeting called at Klausenberg for the purpose of discussing the national minorities question. The Roumanian Fascisti students did not permit the speakers to make their addresses, exclaiming: “We cannot suffer representatives of the Jew Masons.”
Many students were arrested by the police, and at headquarters later, it was discovered that they had come specially to the meeting from Jasse under the direction of Prof. Cuza, who is
well known for his anti-Semitic views and opposition to the national minorities treaty.
