The “Gazeta Warszawska”, the chief organ of the National Democratic Party, expresses satisfaction to-day that the Vilna law courts have so far found five Jews guilty of taking part in the disturbances in Vilna last November and only one non-Jew has been found guilty and he has been sentenced to a very short term of imprisonment. It proves our contention from the start, it says, that the National Democratic students were not to blame for the excesses, but that it was the other way round, that the Jewish students attacked the National Democratic students. It was a National Democratic student, Waclawski, who was killed.
