The charge that Great Britain in its administration of Palestine under the mandate of the League of Nations, has not during the past eight years cooperated with the Jews for the purpose of promoting the establishment of the Jewish national home was made here by Col. Josiah Wedgwood, British labor leader, who is in this city on his way back from Palestine.

At a press interview here, Col. Wedgwood charged that Great Britain “has not done anything for the Jews or for the country.”

“I would regret very much if Palestine would receive a Constitution before the Jewish majority in the country is established,” he declared. “Also, the Arab masses are interested in the speedy creation of a Jewish majority in the country, because a Jewish majority would mean the liberation of the exploited Arab Fellachin and Bedouins from the Pasha domination,” Col. Wedgwood stated.
