The city of Vincennes, some 10 miles from Paris, is about to live through one solid week devoted to the fight against racism and anti-Semitism. The city’s 40,000 inhabitants led by Mayor Jean Clouet will be able to watch special film showings on the subject, visit an exhibition organized by the League Against Anti-Semitism (LICA) and attend a panel discussion with the participation of Nazi-hunter Beate Klarsfeld.
This special week will end March 9 and is being tried out as a sort of test experiment to be repeated elsewhere should it turn out to be a success. It is organized with the active help of the B’nai B’rith and LICA.
