Dr. Chaim Weizmann, in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today indicated that he has no intention of seeking to return to lcadership in world Zionist affairs at present.
Rumors that adherents of Dr. Weizmann would seek to pave the way for his return to leadership at the Actions Committee meetings have been current.
Dr. Weizmann, who made an unexpected appearanc at the sessions yesterday afternoon, stated to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that he does not intend to participate in the debate in the Actions Committee.
He is attending the sessions merely to prevent any misinterpretations and to set at rest any rumors that he is boycotting the Actions Committee of which he is a member.
Dr. Weizmann asserted that he is devoting himself entirely to scientific work which absorbs him fully and that he does not intend to change his present mode of life.
