Tribute was paid today to the role of President Chaim Weizmann in the moral and political fields by Albert Picot, head of the Geneva Educational Department. Picot, who spoke in behalf of the Swiss authorities at the opening of a new library at the ORT central training school at Anieres, stressed the value of Ort work in the building of Israel.
Other speakers at the ceremony included Dr. Aaron Syngalowski, World Ort Union leader, and representatives of the Ort from the United States, Canada and Australia. The library was named in memory of the late philanthropist and Ort leader, Adolf Noumann, who died recently.
