Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency, was made honorary member of the Jewish Writers’ Union last night at a dinner tendered to him by the union.
Revealing that he is writing his autobiography, Dr. Weizmann in a witty, intimate manner spoke of the days of his early youth in his native town and related interesting and humorous episodes of his life in Russia under the Czarist regime. Dr. B. Hoffman, president of the union, presided.
