Dr. Chaim Weizmann, looking greatly improved from his recent illness, made his first public appearance today since he submitted to an eye operation in April. He attended a farewell reception to members of the Palestine trade delegation which has been here for several weeks conferring with British industrialists and government officials on post-war industry and commerce.
It was reported that part of the delegation is remaining here to conclude negotiations concerning expansion of Anglo-Palestine trade. Jewish leaders, as well as officials of the Colonial Office and the Ministries of War, Transport, Trade and Information attended the reception.
