The annual fall financial campaign of San Francisco’s Jewish National Welfare Fund will not take place this year. Instead it will be conducted next spring, according to announcement by leaders of the organization.
Budget allotments were made for the 40 organizations which receive financial help from the center. These allotments will cover for a six months period or until the next drive is concluded.
The reason for the postponement is a change in the campaign plans of San Francisco’s Community Chest by which the usual spring campaign will take place next month and the welfare fund organization chose not to interfere. Judge M. C. Sloss is president of the organization.
