Defense Minister Moshe Dayan reported in the Knesset (Parliament) today that exports from the occupied West Bank to Jordan totalled IL 40 million (about $11.5 million) between last June’s war and the end of January, 1968. He said this trade has provided a livelihood and employment for West Bank residents and has given them an opportunity to visit their families in Jordan. Of the total exports, IL 36 million (about $10.3 million) worth was in agricultural produce.
