West Bank settlers thwarted a Palestinian plot to kidnap Israelis. A group of Palestinians driving a car with Israeli license plates tried to pick up hitchhikers outside the West Bank settlement of Tapuach on Sunday, but raised the suspicions of bystanders with their behavior. An Israeli police unit summoned to the scene stopped the vehicle, found a pistol inside and arrested its occupants.
