The sixty-fifth annual convention of District Grand Lodge No. 4 of the Independent Order B’nai Brith was opened here Sunday at the Davenport Hotel with 250 delegates in attendance.
Judge J. M. Golden of San Francisco, chairman of the Anti-Defamation League for District No. 4, reported on the work of the League. Mrs. Bessie Copeland, president of the women’s lodge and Samuel Edlestein, chairman of the Spokane Committee were the speakers at the opening session.
