A conference of West Canadian Jewry will be held in Winnipeg on July 9 and 10, according to a decision of the congress committee.
This decision is binding and obviates previous plans to hold the conference at Regina at the beginning of July. In the course of the discussions it was brought out that the aims of the conference would be much more satisfactorily achieved if the conference were held in Winnipeg. The date of the conference was changed in order to enable delegates who are going to the “Jewish Day” at Chicago on July 3 to be in attendance.
