A series of broadcasts on Jewish personalities will be started by the Northwest German Radio this Friday with a lecture on Moses Mendelssohn, the Jewish philosopher who helped the Jews of Germany to cross the threshold from ghetto to emancipation.
Other lectures in the same series–which is announced as the “World of Judaism” series–will include Prof. Hugo Preuss, creator of the Weimar Constitution; Leo Fall, composer; Ernst Kantorowicz, historian; Heinrich Hertz, physicist, and others.
