A resolution urging that Dr. Abba Hillel Silver be called back to the leadership of Zionist political work in America was adopted here last night by the executive board of the Westchester Zionist Region, it was announced today by Joseph W. Greenleaf, president.
The resolution expressed concern over the “recent political developments which threaten the continued progress of the state of Israel.” It emphasized that “in furtherance of the effective mobilization of American public opinion on behalf of the state of Israel full use should be made of all the resources of American leadership in the Zionist movement.”
