WESTERN POWERS TO REACH DECISION WITHIN 24 HOURS
The three-power consultations on Israel’s request that the Western Powers bring the Israel-Jordan situation to the United Nations Security Council for an immediate debate are nearing an end and the three powers–United States, Britain and France–are expected to reach a decision on the Israeli appeal within 24 hours, it was learned here today. It was also indicated that the three powers would not issue a communique on the results of the talks, but that they would give some hint of their intentions at the United Nations.
