When Mrs. Louis Ginzberg, recently returned from Palestine, addressed the executive board of the Women’s League of the United Synagogue at a recent meeting, she reported that preparations for the building of a synagogue and center in Jerusalem are almost complete. Dr. Israel H. Levintha## left for Palestine recently taking with him an initial payment toward the building, which is to be erected opposite the Keren Kayemeth, Keren Hayesod and Jewish Agency building in Rehaviah, Jerusalem. Ground will be broken shortly for the building, which is part of a project carried out by the United Synagogue of America and its Women’s League.
