Myer Feldman, a key adviser to President Kennedy, mat today with Israel’s Foreign Minister, Mrs. Golda Meir, for a discussion which reportedly included various aspects of the Middle East situation and American-Israeli relations. Mr. Feldman also met with Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and was received today by President Ben-Zvi.
The Feldmans are visiting Israel as guests of the Weizmann Institute. Mr. Feldman brought to the Institute a suggestion that it join in a major research project in the field of diseases of the brain for which the Kennedy family has set up a fund. Weizmann Institute officials said that such participation would require the building of a special institute and that if funds could be raised for that purpose, the Institute would join the project.
