The White House conference on the refugee problem to which President Roosevelt has invited the directorate of the Intergovernmental Refugee Committee has been postponed to mid October it was learned today.
Originally scheduled to be held the first week in September the conference will instead be convened October 16 or 17. Lord Winterton chairman and the five committee vice chairman representing France the United States. The Netherlands the Argentine and Brazil have been invited to the meeting.
