Dr. Harry Elmer Barnes, sociologist, ascribed German hatred of the Jew to jealousy in an address before 100 educators at Teachers College yesterday.
The Germans are envious of the Jews’ great intellectual character. Dr. Barnes said. They are also jealous because the Jewish representation in the professions is disproportionate with their ratio in the population, he added.
