Twenty-one charitable, educational and religious institutions, many of them Jewish, were named as legatees by Mrs. Hilda W. Strook, widow of the late Jewish leader Sol M. Strook, in her will filed yesterday in Surrogate’s Court here.
Among the beneficiaries are the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Montefiore Hospital for Chronic Diseases, the American Jewish Committee, the Joint Distribution Committee, the National Refugee Service, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the Jewish Welfare Board, and the Young Men’s Hebrew Association.
