Police Officer Scharmeister, who yesterday testified that the widow of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff told him her husband had been shot by Arabs, was closely questioned today by Presiding Judge Corrie as to his reasons for not having immediately reported the conversation to his superiors. Scharmeister replied he was in mufti and carried no diary.
Suleman Mowaket, an Arab testified Mrs. Arlosoroff picked him out as a suspect during an identification parade at police headquarters.
Efraim Eliezer stated he too was picked out by Mrs. Arlosoroff as a possible suspect.
Corporal Mordecai Meiri testified Police Tracker Abu Ruz told him it was impossible that Abraham Stavsky and Zvi Rosenblatt, now on trial for the murder, could have killed Dr. Arlosoroff.
