Mrs. Eliahu Rlath, wife of the Israel Ambassador here, this week-end presented a Hebrew Bible, bound in silver, to Mrs. Harry S. Truman. The binding of the Bible, which was presented in the name of the women of Israel, was made by the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem and is adorned with engravings showing Moses with the Tablets of the Law, and other Biblical material. Mrs. Truman’s monogram is engraved on the back and the fly-leaf bears the inscription, “To Mrs. Harry S. Truman from the Women of Israel.”
