The special matinee of Bizet’s opera "Carmen," by the National Opera Company at the New York Hippodrome, will be broadcast tomorrow afternoon, from 3:00 to 5:15 P. M., over Station WEVD. Due to the fact that WEVD does not go on the air until 3:00 P. M. and "Carmen" will be presented at 2:30 P. M., all but the first half hour of this opera will be broadcast.
