King Hussein of Hedjas who has been in Amman for the past few weeks to confer with Arab notables regarding the proposed Anglo-Arab Treaty and the projected Pan-Arabic Confederation, has issued an invitation to the Jewish delegation to discuss with him again the Arab-Jewish understanding. The movement for such an understanding was launched a few days ago when the Jewish delegation called on King Hussein and submitted to him a moderate interpretation of the Balfour Declaration. Hussein seems to have been favorably impressed and the second conference follows as a result.
