Whether or not Yiddish writers are to be admitted into the International Pen Club will be a question considered at the club’s international congress which will be opened here June 20.
Hitherts, the admission to the international club has been limited to a territorial basis and Yiddish clubs were excluded. The question was placed on the agenda of the first meeting. Leo Koenig, representing the Yiddish Writers Club of Poland, was invited to speak at the congress, but he will have no vote in the decision of the question.
