In line with the plan proposed by Asher Moissis, President of the Executive of the Jewish National Fund for Greece, about forty prominent Jews from Salonica, Athens, and Janina will visit Palestine next March, with the intention of making the necessary arrangements for the formation of a Greek colony in Palestine, for which a sum of ten thousand pounds sterling has been received and handed over to the Jewish National Fund through the efforts of the late Dr. Coffinas, the deputy for Salonica in the Greek parliament.

The remains of the late Dr. Coffinas will, on this occasion, be transferred to Palestine, and buried in the cemetery of Tel-Aviv. A wood of 500 trees, bearing his name, will be planted by the Jewish National Fund, with money specially received for this object.
